Are you getting excited about Loy Krathong festival this coming Saturday?
Loy Krathong is a Siamese festival celebrated annually throughout the Kingdom of #Thailand and in nearby countries. The name could be translated as “to float ritual vessel or lamp,” and comes from the tradition of making #Krathong, decorated baskets, which are then floated on a river.
Many Thais use the Krathong to thank the Goddess of Water.
#HuaHin Municipality is getting ready for the annual Loy Krathong Festival which will be held on Saturday, 31st October in five different locations:
β’ Hua Don Beach, Khao Takiab (near the ferry pier)
β’ Queen Sirikit Park, Soi 19

β’ Khao Takiab Community
β’ Khao Tao Reservoir
We hope you enjoy the festival.
